Successful Dissemination Event in Kranj: AT 4 VIPs

On November 26, 2024, our Erasmus+ KISS project partner MDSS Kranj hosted a remarkable event in Kranj focused on assistive technologies for the blind and visually impaired. The event, part of the Erasmus+ KISS project, aimed to enhance daily tasks and employment opportunities for visually impaired persons.

The day began with a warm welcome from Emil Muri, President of MDSS Kranj. This was followed by an insightful presentation on the employment of the blind and visually impaired and the KISS Handbook by Darko Starič, Business Secretary of MDSS Kranj and Project Coordinator of the KISS project. Participants then engaged in a lively discussion, sharing experiences and ideas.

After a refreshing break, Robert Hrovat Merič led a hands-on workshop showcasing the latest technical aids. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the practical demonstrations and the valuable insights gained.

This event not only highlighted the importance of assistive technologies but also fostered a sense of community and support among participants. We look forward to continuing our efforts to improve the lives of visually impaired persons through innovative solutions and collaborative initiatives.
